FAQ

In this section you will find answers to frequently asked questions about our services. We hope that this space will help you to better understand our operation and methodology.

Please keep in mind the length of your stay and the number of trips depend on multiple factors. On average one must stay:

VIP Porcelain Veneers: 4-5 Days
Porcelain Veneers: 1 Week
Dental Implants: 3 Days
Dental Crowns: 1 Week

For your stay, we recommend you two 1-bedroom apartments that you can rent on Airbnb.com located 10 minutes away from our clinic in the center of the city, close to malls, supermarkets, pharmacies, etc.

Santo Domingo:

Torre Don Orlando 4th floor https://abnb.me/DeFKgasO9P

Torre Don Orlando 7th floor https://abnb.me/iG7mb0DxPP

Punta Cana:

During the first appointment, your teeth will be prepped slightly, and a scan of your teeth will be made. Then temporary veneers will be placed. During this same appointment, you will be able to discuss shape, size, and color with the Dr. Then the lab will get to work on creating each of your veneers. After approximately 8 days you will need to return for a second appointment where your permanent veneers will be placed.

Prep is necessary when placing veneers, as that is what ensures the veneers to adhere to the natural tooth. It is also what warrants an even look throughout. The amount of prep depends per patient and is most of the time very minimal.

We currently do not work with composite veneers as their quality has proven to be inferior. They do not last nor are they strong enough and therefore do not meet our quality standards.

Implants take 4 months on average to heal, after which you can book your second trip to have the crowns placed or the permanent dentures.

Even with veneers and dentures, one must keep good oral hygiene by brushing at least twice a day, using floss or a water pick, and visiting the dentist every six months. Moreover, one must keep away from placing extreme force on the teeth by for example opening bottles, nuts, crab legs with the teeth, etc. It is also of utmost importance to use the nightguard daily.
